This book is actually a prequel as it takes place before the Abbey is built so it’s a great place to begin. I really enjoyed Jeff Wheeler's "Kingfountain" series, which was based on the latter years of the Plantegenet rulers of England in the fifteenth century, and was excited to discover that there are more books in the series (and more coming!
