Thermal Solution - Versatile cooling options are on offer inside the Trooper, the chassis can fit a massive nine 120mm fans in total, with three GameMax Razor fans included and multiple radiator configurations with room for up to a 360mm radiator at the front and top you really can enhance your cooling further. The fans themselves are unbranded and include a central mirror with a fantastic infinity effect, but it doesn’t look like anything until you turn the RGB lights on. ARGB Hub Included– The Commando TG provides you with two different opportunities to control your LED lighting. Control your Razor Extreme fans manually, they include a 3 Pin power and 3 Pin AURA male and female connectors enables you to either control your lighting through the included hub and using the reset switch to change between the LED modes. The hub can connect to 6 x 3 Pin or 4 Pin fans with 6 x 3 Pin ARGB headers, the performance of the hub is excellent with a PWM function built in it makes it even easier to control your fan speed. Powered using a SATA connector ensures a safe and easy installation with reliable power.

Airflow– Four fans comes standard with the Commando TG and the chassis can mount another two fans (2 x 120mm or 2 x 140mm at the top) to help create the perfect balance of air running in and out of your system. There are some signs of cost-saving, though. Computer Case Focus on Cooling- The modular motherboard I/O allows you to move the motherboard to a higher/lower position for air-cooled/water-cooled systems. To ensure adequate airflow, a Total 9x120mm fan position, Fine mesh panel at the top, and on the PSU shroud side, help with great ventilation

One little detail that did annoy me, though, was the poor fit for my IO plate, which had a significant gap at the bottom when fitted (see pic above). I guess it’ll help the thermals, but my eyes don’t like it one bit. Tons of fans, messy cables and a fragile LED control module Bad cables! Oh shit! I broke it Nice(ish) cables! Should be able to. Just select the field and type "auto" if you can. Or however the Gigabyte BIOS works.Once I’d given up on perfecting my cable management and got the thing going, it was a beautiful sight to behold. The fans really do pop in a dark environment, and that infinity mirror effect is uber cool. There is a pre-installed 3x120mm ARGB fan on the front and 1x120mm ARGB fan on the rear, additional 1xCOC turbofan on the motherboard plate, The ARGB light and RGB mode are controlled via V2.0 PWM+ARGB HUB, It gives big airflow and excellent effect and gives this case the perfect balance between style and RGB. Do you want me to bench in cpuz and show you the results? Yeah, my board doesn't seem to have DOCP... Probably because it's a cheaper board and gigabyte didn't bother adding alot of features! The first thing you notice is how wide the GameMax DS360 is, a full-on 28cm deep. The design allows the PSU to be mounted sideways behind the motherboard but, in doing so, moves everything closer to the glass side panel. So if you have a massive air cooler like me, it may only just fit, despite the cases’ bloated waistline.

The case material is relatively thin and a little unfinished in places, although only on the inside. The fans are pretty to look at but louder than ideal, and the fan controller is flimsy and too easy to damage if you’re not careful. The front panel with ARGB strip and light mode controlled via build-in HUB, It gives big airflow and excellent effect and the spectrum LED strip is inlayed to give this case the perfect balance between style and RGB. The LED control board I butchered also comes with a 3-pin Aura motherboard connector, which should allow light customisation from your motherboards’ RGB software or 3rd party control centre of choice such as the excellent Signal RGB. Turned on the case is absolutely dazzling, but a little noisy Ooo, the COLOURS children… GameMax has gone all-in on a blinged-out, fat-bodied RGB-fest to entice the gamer who wants a high-end case on a mid-range budget. Did they nail it? You can now take your LED customisation to new levels with the included ARGB motherboard connector, simply connect the 3pin to your motherboard and you can use the mobo software to sync your fans the way you like.Has GameMax succeeded in their quest to give gamers a flashy, RGB-festooned beast of a case at a reasonable price, without sacrificing quality and usability? For the most part, yes.
