It's not Harry Potter, but I can imagine it starting with the thought that it should have been Hermione as the star.My favourite spreads in the book are those where Cassie is telling the story of Lord Ellsmere and his family. The War at Ellsmere is on the American Library Association’s Great Graphic Novels for Teens short list! All three parts of the trilogy as well as notes from Peter and me are contained in this lovely (and huge! Ever since I read Pumpkinheads three times in three months last year, I’ve been on an FEH kick, and honey I just can’t shake it! I'm not sure the revised and colored artwork really adds much, but using it as an excuse to revisit the story reminds me that I wouldn't mind seeing a new tale set at Ellsmere.

We personally found the room a little bit too bright in the morning as the curtains let in a little bit too much light (but that is just our personal preference).I love the way she immediately makes me fall for the characters and feel their pain and cheer for their triumphs. Hicks’s varied panel sizes control pacing effectively, while her muted palette gives the castle-like school an archaic feel. Passenger lists are your ticket to knowing when your ancestors arrived in the USA, and how they made the journey - from the ship name to ports of arrival and departure. I'm assuming the finished copy will be fully coloured, and definitely think that is the better choice.

She has a smart mouth and a whole lotta attitude, which helps her when she incurs the wrath of Emily, a rich, snobbish but equally snide and witty student. I love the way that the images are framed and give different perspectives of characters on one spread.This graphic novel was illustrated beautifully and touched on some of the important topics such as family bond, friendship and bullying. The magic beast is said to be a white deer, and when Orphan says that she thinks that it isn't deer, MC doesn't say anything. Second, Imbalance, the Avatar: The Last Airbender trilogy written by me with art by Peter Wartman (colour by Adele Matera) is out in a collected edition. With its huge bathroom including a free standing bath and enormous shower- the small bottle of complimentary prosecco was enjoyed whist unwinding in the bathtub. Loved the characters (especially the self-aware evil henchwomen) and the ending sets things up nicely for a sequel.
