I want to start by saying, I am so happy for this author’s success and hope that this book finds its way to people who love it. Overall, I was excited at face value to read the book and support the author, but I think it's important that I put this out there even among the glowing reviews for this book.

Five stars for me has to hit ever check mark - I question if these reviews are from people who have actually read the book themselves rather then following the main stream hype. Both were essential to Leigh’s well-being and growth besides helping her get to the bottom of it all. I loved this book so much, I'm tempted to read it all over again to catch all the little things I must have missed this first time around.

I was looking for a fun read to fill the gap between more intense and in-depth series that I normally read and I came across this book. Even though the character can obviously speak English well, he’ll repeat MC’s word or short phrase in Spanish unnecessarily. I wish there had been more with the ghosts and her healing and not so much with the cloak and dagger.
