I received a Stardrake cheap and pre-built (including magnetized rider options!) from a fellow Rollmodel, and painted that up. This was one of the biggest models I’ve ever painted, and quite a big project. Very pleased with it. One day she might even get to play.

The Gobbapalooza are a particular set of miniatures that can be used individually as a fighter within a Gloomspite Skrap, or as an Ally in any Destruction warband. With each new army for Warhammer Age of Sigmar we now get a faction specific terrain piece which is deployed at the start of the battle without a points cost – think Sylvaneth Wyldwoods, Deepkin boats, Maggotkin of Nurgle trees and Beasts of Chaos herdstones. For Gloomspite Gitz, it is the Loonshrine. Do you Gloomspite Gitz vets think it'll hold it's own? Do you think it'll be fun to play? What would you change? And what are the main weaknesses/strengths of this list? This has been mentioned a lot but I'm just getting into AoS and want to know what models to buy and paint, I've tried to come up with an army list that has all of the models I liked the look of and wanted to paint in it but I have no idea if it's actually ok to use this army. Not planning on anything competitive, just casual play with friends.Gloomspite Gitz saw some point adjustments, mostly going down to justify the overall decrease in Wounds and Strength, bringing the basic Grot to a mere Strength 2. Biggest loser is the Cave Squig that got quite nerfed, but it also costs half now. Biggest winner the Scuttleboss that saw Strength and Damage going up but also his points by 35! As with all recent Warhammer Age of Sigmar battletomes, Games Workshop aims to have a variety of available army builds within the same faction. The Loonboss is the military commander of the Moonclan Grots and as such he is an essential leader even of a Sneaky Skrap. The Squig Herder has the same profile as a Stabba with Stabba except lower Toughness (3) and the ability to provide a free move to any beast within 4” for a Triple.

I figured the loonboss and 7 sneaky snufflers can buff the stabbas. The Loonboss on cave squig can ride with 10 Bounderz, while the other 10 can ride with the Mangler squig. The squig herd will roll with a fungoid cave shaman (the one with squig lure), as well as maybe the other 7 sneaky snufflers. and the 10 squig hoppers can roam catching of-positioned enemy units. This gives me 4 threats (in the form of 2-3 unit combos, and one unit to roam. **Also one fungoid cave shamen to go where needed. So why are Slaves to Darkness and Ogors not dominating? Well I expect in the former’s case it’s because they have a real bad matchup against Gitz and Fyreslayers, who are capable of outlasting them and grinding them down with layered buffs on cheaper units. As for Ogors, they saw some pretty significant price hikes on their strongest build, and they likewise don’t have the sort of efficiency that these smaller armies have with layered buffs. Barbed Net (Double, Stabba with Barbed Net): A good chance to prevent an enemy from moving or disengaging this round. Spider Riders increase the threat damage with 10″ movement and more survivability, but they also cost more than 2 Shootas.Zarbag’s Gitz: good as it is, just buy the Warhammer Underworlds warband and enjoy! How to buy a Gloomspite Gitz Warband Maxwell Henretta – Ogor Mawtribes: A meatfist list that skips Gnoblars and Ironblasters entirely for just a whole bunch of Gluttons and Ironguts. Both units quietly representing a pretty significant amount of damage output and are just annoying enough to shoot off the board that they can cause trouble for ranged lists. This can and probably will change the more you play, as well as adjusting around what armies are prevalent in your area. Whichever you choose, just make sure you practice it.
