Lee is a fascinating character, a bullied bully who definitely lived life to the full, however asking ppl their views on Lee and then making each opinion a chapter in the book makes for a boring read. Author, Jamie Boyle has spent hours speaking to family members, friends and others who knew him and has recently completed: Lee Duffy - The Whole of the Moon. Lee Duffy was a well-known boxer and bouncer from South Bank in Middlesbrough who was feared by many people on Teesside throughout the 1980s before his death in 1991.

There are accounts from people who knew Duffy because they had worked the doors with him and witnessed the many fights he had with drunks and doormen alike, and accounts from people who had hung around him and were privy to his inner thoughts. There was another side to Lee that has never really been properly documented until now, and the author has certainly done that in a fair, balanced and respectful way with this book. I downloaded this book upon release at midnight and sat up all night and read the lot as I simply could not put it down.
