However,where the floor build is greater than 65mm, the drainage channelcannot be used to collect condensation from the face of the Newton wall membrane. Standard practice has been to cut a strip of wall membrane and fit it between the wall membrane and Basedrain channel to create a condensation gap to collect any surface condensation that may occur. The floor membrane is then taped to the strip of wall membrane.
