The nostalgia hits differently whenever it comes to old Disney movies and animated features, especially if it’s on VHS tape. This particular factor alone provides these tapes with value.

This collection of animated features was released from 2000 to 2001 and began with one of our old favorites –Toy Story. Collecting nearly 27 films, the series ended with Oliver and Company after a year and 5 months. Afterward, Bagheera and Baloo take Mowgli to the edge of the Man-Village, but Mowgli is still hesitant to go there. However, his mind abruptly changes when he is smitten by a beautiful young girl from the village who is coming down by the riverside to fetch water. After noticing Mowgli, she "accidentally" drops her water pot. Mowgli retrieves it for her and follows her into the Man-Village. After Mowgli shrugs to Baloo and Bagheera, to show that he has made up his mind and chosen to go to the Man-Village, Baloo and Bagheera decide to head home, content that Mowgli is safe and happy with his own kind. For starters, Disney VHS tapes are not worthless, they do have value to some extent. They may not be worth great fortunes or millions of dollars as many would make it seem, but they certainly are worth something. Someone may just feel the need to clear out their closets, hence they give out the tapes for a giveaway price, and some even at goodwill

If a tape that you have in your possession is being sought after by many buyers, then there’s every chance that the tapes are of high value and could be sold for a high price. The score features six original songs: five by the Sherman Brothers and one by Terry Gilkyson. Longtime Disney collaborator Gilkyson was the first songwriter to bring several complete songs that followed the book closely but Walt Disney felt that his efforts were too dark. The film, released in 1994, differs even more from the book than its animated counterpart, but was still a box-office success.
