You've had so many shoes over the years. Would that be weird to you if you saw a fashion brand repurpose your old designs? The Etnies Marana Vulc is a slimmer version of the cupsole Marana, this one with a vulcanized outsole (see last section of this post if you don’t know what that means). The suede upper has injected rubber toe cap providing strong support and a mesh-lined tongue and collar that make it very breathable. The insole offers good cushioning and rebound. The outsole is extremely flexible with a sturdy, long-lasting tread pattern. Emerica’s most recent iteration of Reynolds models (The “Reynolds Low,” and the “Reynolds Mid” in 2013) stressed the minutia of breathability, support, and lightweight qualities. The options for skateboarders with wide feet (2E+) are very limited and perhaps nonexistent. The skateboarding industry is relatively small and I assume it would be too expensive to produce wider skate shoes to get a decent return on investment. Your best bet is to look for non-skate brands that offer wide suede sneakers.
