I did thoroughly approve of the message being passed to children that they should always look beyond prejudices and never believe what they are told of people; instead they should make up their own minds. I also liked that the prejudices here avoided the commonplace (such as colour of skin) and dealt with two that were unique to the period - illegitimacy and desertion. If it weren’t for his gran, then Henry’s home life would be awful, what with his mean stepfather and annoying half-sister. If only his dad hadn’t died.

While the traditional Henry has an A class energy efficiency rating, other models don’t match it. The worst is actually the Harry, which has a C class energy efficiency rating.
