In this configuration, the experience has heightened bass depth and a much more prominent treble drop-off, meaning it is both less physically impacting and less bright, more tamed on the top, and more plentiful on the bottom. The positioning of the elements on the soundstage is correct, as nothing sounds out of place, and it is wide and expansive to sound spacious. Extremely clear and vivid imaging is present. Since there is sufficient space between notes for to breathe, I can identify the source of the sound thanks to the notes' distinct characteristics. The midrange of the EA500 provides a great balance between accuracy and musicality. It’s neither too harsh nor too smooth, and it offers a natural sounding midrange. Instruments and vocals sound clear and detailed, with a good sense of depth and plenty of fine detail. The soundstage is good, with plenty of texture and dimension. The sound is well-balanced across the frequency range, with a slight emphasis on the midrange. The sound is not overly bright or overly warm, but rather natural and balanced. The treble is crisp and clean, with good extension and airiness. The bass is tight and punchy, with a good sense of power and impact. Overall, the sound is very well balanced, with a good sense of detail, dynamics, and clarity. Treble I am pleasantly surprised with the product performance to price ratio. This IEM will sound fantastic playing most music genres and I could hear notes which were otherwise inaudible on the drives used in my past.

vs iKKo OH10: OH10 is failing compared to Simgot EA500 in many parameters. It’s hard to call it nice and move along, when EA500 is present. Oh10 is a wide angle for sure, almost U shaped, but EA is like W. For reference my favorite IEM is the Xenns Mangird UP with it's EST drivers that add sparkly enhancement only and not forced in a smooth natural way I prefer the fast speedy bass of the Beryllium Coated Driver. On driver coherency, you will be able to gauge that SIMGOT uses a high-quality DLC diaphragm dynamic driver as it delivers a faster transient response without any sort of being out of phase or distortion sounding.

Packaging & Accessories

At 86dB normal sound pressure level, the distortion of EA500 is lower than normal environmental noise and will not be noticed in music listening scenarios. When the sound pressure level is increased to 96dB and 104dB, the distortion of EA500 is not as perfect as some expensive IEMs, but the small amount of distortion is not something to worry about too much. The distortion between left and right ears is also basically consistent. The Simgot EA500 boasts an engaging, punchy bass that is boosted slightly above neutral. It’s well-defined and full-bodied, never intruding or smothering the mids and highs. The sub-bass and mid-bass are balanced linearly, resulting in a natural weight and effortless transition between the two. Great nozzle length for me and angle made it a great fit isolation was outstanding for me. ( Subjective ) A huge stage and Vocals listen for excellent separation and stage, Vocals at 1:38 and female 2:38 and micro-dynamics

In terms of build, both of these IEMs are stellar. Kima has a matte finish which can better withstand scratches. I am not writing these articles to help manufacturers promote their products, even less I’m expecting or even accepting compensation when I do. I’m writing exclusively to share my fun – and sometimes my disappointment – about gear that I happen to buy, borrow or somehow receive for audition.In the lower mids, there’s plenty of warmth and body that provides a solid foundation for instruments like guitars and pianos. The upper mids have a touch of brightness that brings out the details in vocals and other midrange instruments like horns and strings. There’s also excellent clarity and articulation throughout the midrange, which ensures that every note and detail is audible. Treble As far as the bass is concerned, the Topaz have quite a bit more in quantity with a deeper and fuller rumble and slam. The EA500 has a less colored low-end with a more speedy, punchy and organic sound. Both are quality for the type of bass as well as the emphasis each has down low. The Topaz effect the midrange a bit more while the EA500 stays in its lane and doesn’t disrupt anything. So, tight and clean, textured and punchy, or boomy, full, resounding and impactful. The Mids The EA500 uses a 10mm dual magnet and dual cavity chamber design for the driver. I find this especially interesting that there is extra space allotted inside an all-metallic chassis.
