This novel is a work of fiction, although the author does try to confuse the audience in this respect, as both the author and the narrator are unnamed. Now, aside the fact that the book was narrated by an insensitive, inconsiderate bitter misogynist, I vehemently disliked it for its style; the writing was terrible, inconsistent and repetitive. This is fictitious work but written as if an autobiography, so we as the reader are reading his thoughts and how he views things. Although this can be forgiven as it’s an autobiography and probably the first publication from this author.
