Cassandra Jardine from The Daily Telegraph stated that during an interview Lloyd frequently lost track of her sentences, stared into the distance and made sudden exclamations for no apparent reason.I wasn't particularly endeared to Emily Lloyd "the star" but I thought the older, mature, regular Londoner who is working to be a better person on a daily basis sounds like a great person. All I’ll say about the ending is that it is tied up very nicely in a heartbreaking and heartwarming way and having seen people reference that the story has tie-ins to The Bone Houses, Emily’s first book, I definitely plan on picking that up soon!
