Another run of performances took place at the Ambassadors Theatre in London in 2018, following a UK tour. When Easterman and Styler begin to talk, it turns out the two men used to be neighbours, and Styler admired Easterman, perhaps even loved him. I may not like the play, but the popular press didn't mind it too much, except for NICHOLAS DE JONGH of THE EVENING STANDARD who says, "When it came to suffering, the real, hard work was done by an audience condemned to watch this strident, silly piffle. I read it in one sitting and I normally never do this haha because of my crappy attention span, so this says a lot about this book.

Then to add to this mystery, Nurse Plimpton, behaves oddly, seeming afraid of Dr Farquhar, and secretly attempting to put a note into the hand of Mark Styler. This is one play where seeing isn't quite believing and reading the text is the only way to uncover all the clues. A thriller that actually manages to thrill, and a very dark comedy that twists and spirals towards a completely unexpected ending. But as I grew older (and my original audience entered their twenties) I felt a need to move into adult writing.Although anyone who has read their Christie might anticipate some of the twists, it is still a taut and exciting piece; unfortunately, the design elements probably will keep it from being performed as often as its excellence warrants. I hope, if you read it, you'll enjoy all the clues, the red herrings, the bizarre range of suspects and the occasionally violent twists.

We are then taken on a journey of twists and turns for the rest of the play that makes you ask who is the ‘sane’ person here. But here I am, writing a book in which I have no idea what's going on, following in the footsteps of a character who refuses to tell me anything. However, there were a few scenes that were both disturbing and shocking, but these were mainly acts of violence upon another, that would disturb and shock any decent person.
