Remember to cut the water supply to outside taps and those in the garage. I did forget to do this many years ago shall I say, much to my regret. Well here we are in mid Summer. So much time is taken up watering, the hanging baskets are most at risk. Further south they generally require watering every day at this time of year. Here in Aberdeen we can usually get away with every second or third day, unless of course we experience one of our rare heat waves.
