Sara starred as Pat Gallan in the Stephen Graham series Little Boy Blue, Sally Reid in London’s Burning back in 1993, and has had small roles in Unforgotten, Ghosts, Doctor Who, and Murder in Provence. It’s only natural for viewers to feel a certain amount of empathy for the main character, but Claudia’s obsession with Emily’s disappearance does add another chilling element to this already dark tale… Who’s in The House Across the Street cast?

She has just recovered from breast cancer, her ex-husband has a new partner and a baby on the way, and she is losing connection with her teenage son.However, viewers were not impressed by the storyline's blunders, while others moaned about Doctor Who star Sara Powell's voice, who plays Joanne, a supportive yet suspicious neighbour. Shirley has an impressive film career, starring in movies such as Trainspotting, Bridget Jones’s Diary, 24 Hour Party People and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, in which she voiced Babu Frik. Newcomer teacher George is another suspect and isn’t trusted by the locals who deem him secretive though a preference for privacy doesn’t necessarily mean that he’s involved in whatever happened to Emily.

From its title alone Channel 5’s The House Across The Street promises some serious suspense and as anyone who’s binge-watched their way through The Watcher will know, there’s nothing like a little suspicion to throw a neighborhood into chaos. With several narrative threads unspooling in this first episode, it will be a challenge to overcome its teething problems. The lonely primary school nurse is recovering from double mastectomy, while struggling to maintain a meaningful relationship with her 12-year-old son. but when the case turns into a murder inquiry, just what happened to Emily and who took her from the local park in broad daylight? The House Across the Street combined sharply observed characters with a genuinely compelling concept.I'll applaud it for being four parts long, I am struggling with some of the series that are right parts or longer. Last week I slogged to the end of ITV’s The Suspect, mainly because I couldn’t rest without knowing why that plumber kept popping up in the kitchen with suspiciously timed offers of coffee and/or beating up photographers in the back garden. When a little girl, Emily, goes missing, neighbours are drawn together to try and find out what happened to her. But the thing about our story is that Claudia goes to extremes – she goes to a point where her interested could be dangerous! But not only is she determined to find out what happened to Emily, she's also becoming obsessed with the Winter family at the center of the case — Emily’s devastated father Owen, her cold mother Sabine, and her 12-year-old brother, Dean.
