You can use hot or cold water at the start it doesn't make any difference during the slow cooking process. Preparing a slow-cooked ham could not be simpler. You’ll need a ham, a slow cooker and a few simple ingredients to make a moist, perfectly glazed ham. It will be a beautiful centerpiece for your holiday spread! Ingredients The first time we made this, I was a bit sceptical as to how it would turn out. It seems like it’s far too simple to taste good. It’s simplicity is what I love about this dish now though.

Score the fat into a diagonal criss-cross pattern with a sharp knife. The ham can now be chilled for up to two days, or you can bake it straight away.
