Walkers Oven Baked were put on sale in 2007. The company said they had the same taste of standard Walkers but with 70% less fat. In 1982 Walkers opened the largest crisp production plant in the world in Leicester. It has grown over the years and continues to be the world’s largest. The American Cheeseburger flavour was launched during the World Cup of 2010 - and competed against a number of other nationally-themed flavours including French Garlic Baguette, Italian Spaghetti Bolognaise and eventual winner English Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding.

That's because of an IT issue which has disrupted production and this is why you could see some flavours missing from shelves or unavailable to buy online.
