Reading some of the less than flattering reviews I wondered 'could the lovely James have delivered a stinker here? On the UK Singles Chart, the song peaked at number four, despite being at number one on the Airplay charts.

The album received mixed reviews from critics: At Metacritic, which assigns a normalised rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream critics, the album has received an average score of 53 out of 100, which indicates "mixed or average reviews", based on 21 reviews.Although I owned nearly all versions of this album this was one I missed until now, playing through a great DVD player and an amp with some quality speakers the DVD quality shines through. Two or three of these tracks are reasonably catchy and uplifting, in a Chris-Martin-on-an-off-day kinda way.

A third world debt-ridding amount of copies will be shifted of this album by the man who remains either a paragon of 'sensitive' singer songwriting to his fanbase, or a piece of cockney rhyming slang to the rest of the world.

Listening to it again James Blunt shows what a quality artist he really is, superb writing is his forte and his voice can never be mistaken, a true one off he deserves every accolade he receives. Why go for Blunt's dehydrated instant fix of heartache when you can luxuriate in the deeply moving work of a Jose Gonzalez or Ray LaMontagne? The second single taken from the album was " Same Mistake", which failed to chart in the US and had a differing successes in other countries, however, it was a major hit in many South American countries. The new album follows the multi-platinum, international Number 1 debut `Back To Bedlam' - the best-selling LP of the millennium - and is once again produced by Tom Rothrock. Kerri Mason, reviewing for Billboard, gave the album a positive review, saying that Blunt "shows the abandon and confidence of a long-term artist, not just a one-hit wonder".
