Description

The plot is self-referential in nature, with the Simpson family discovering that they are forced to participate in another Simpsons video game. Rizzer, however, was still pleased with the amount of parody in the game and considered The Simpsons the "perfect vehicle to poke fun at the games industry". So, Homer and Lisa reach the village, where blue sumos (appearing like Comic Book Guy) emerge from the filthy water.

The Simpsons, along with several other characters from the games, escape to Springfield, where the aliens are still attacking. This system must be updated to the latest system software and connected to the internet with automatic downloads enabled, and it must have enough storage to complete the download. Bart shoots his slingshot at three hatches on Lard Lad and he has to hop on a hatch and disable his wiring. As you play through the game, you’ll see a lot of familiar faces as the game features many of your favourite Simpsons characters.They praised its visuals, writing, and faithfulness to the original material, while they criticized its short length and poor camera system, which did not always function properly.

For example, in the fourth episode, "Lisa the Tree Hugger", the player is required to use Lisa's "Hand of Buddha" power to move large objects, and Bart's slingshot to shut down machines. Progress through the game’s story mode and unlock new items and characters with which Pet Homer can react. Adding a few more mini games or additional modes might have helped and although the multiplayer aspect is fun, it could have been a little more substantial. The DS version is an ambitious side-scrolling affair that centres on a Springfield-based hub, and includes 12 unique episodes and something like 2000 lines of dialogue. Frink gives them cheat codes, but decided to stay in the videogame world because he was marrying a Koopa (from the Mario franchise).It's not a hard game by any means and it's a little straightforward and short, but it offers some great chuckles all the way through.
