I HATE that most of all, and can’t remember an author who left the reader with such a giant question mark for an ending.

He tells her that neither he nor his mother killed January and relives the night he found January at the bottom of the basement stairs, holding a scrap of her baby blanket. Flowers also hosts several audiochuck shows, including top-rated podcasts Crime Junkie, The Deck, and The Deck Investigates.Another bug bear for me in this novel was the sheer amount of times that Margot felt guilty over leaving her uncle with his condition. This case took place in the late 80s in the Midwest, and I was not familiar with it, but is a truly horrible and heartbreaking story. All Good People Here features one of my favourite narrative structures in thrillers: a dual timeline. The storytelling is straightforward and free of rabbit holes so the cases stay suspenseful and are easy to follow. Sorry, I really wanted to like this one, it was my first NetGalley read for a while and I was pretty pumped - completely let down though. Townies of Wakarusa already start criticizing the situation and another vandalizing attack happens at Jacobs’ front walls just like twenty years ago when their daughter has been kidnapped and killed. Krissy kept other secrets as well: She had begun conversing with Jace again through letters and learned that he did not kill January; the twins’ father is not Billy, but their old friend Dave, a nickname for Luke Davies.

This Spoiler Discussion of All Good People is about going through the timeline, the suspects, and the book’s conclusion. A simple acknowledgement and apology would have been all that's needed for retribution, but none came. If you don’t want to tell someone, KEEP NOTES and make sure there is at least one trusted person who knows your computer and phone passwords.
