The date on mine switches over at 12:00am exactly, not off by a minute! this shows some attention by the person installing the hands at Loreo. The dial is nice, with a sunburst spin in the light from the brush pattern, but over that is a clear matte finish that catches the light as a green to yellow sort of luminescence. The lume on the hands and indicators is fairly nice, functional but not exceptional. That said, I wouldn’t hesitate to go scuba diving with any watch on this list. They are all more than suitable. The Lume. As every cheap watch I have used, Lume is not good. Lasts few minutes and it is very weak on the hands.

Welcome to our Loreo watches review! In this article, we will explore another obscure Chinese watch brand that produces luxury styled watches and homages. This is a brand that many would refer to as a mushroom brand. No dust or debris on dial, and indices are well positioned so that the minute hand hits all the markers correctly - helps with my OCD. Strengths: The newest generation Bulgari Diagono Scuba (aBlogtoWatch review here) is the best Diagono diver watch made to date, offering an interesting Italian-theme to the idea of a Rolex Submariner alternative. Built on the Diagono family of watches, you see distinctive design elements such as the hinge-style lugs, bracelet, and dial design, which here is the cleanest we’ve ever seen it on a Diagono Scuba. It also happens to mix sportiness with elegance very well, just like the Rolex Submariner The case is a pretty simple mix of brushed and polished surfaces. Overall combined with the dial it glints and gleams in the sunlight.

Waterproof to 200 Meters. You will see a lot of blogs out there listing watches as dive watches that are wholly unsuitable for scuba diving. O-rings deteriorate over time. This is true on scuba gear as much as it is on dive watches. The reason a dive watch has a 200 meter depth rating is because with this deterioration, even though you won’t be diving to 200 meters, your watch will still remain water resistant. All dive watches should be serviced periodically however.

The Loreo has a really nice crown. It is smooth and is a proper screw down crown. It has the Loreo L on it, which doesn’t really do anything for me personally, but it is a nice touch. The clasp is pressed, not machined, but it’s nice and easy to operate. Again, for the price this is a good solid clasp that is easy to operate. Dial It doesn’t contain any chamfering and is pretty basic in design, but they didn’t screw anything up either. Basic is often good. CrownThe Loreo from what I can tell has a Seagull movement. Seagull makes popular movements for discounted watches. I have heard that they make a quarter of the automatic movements produced every year, but I cannot verify this. wHAT i did notice after 24 hours versus my mac AND android phone, was that it lost 2.5 seconds in that time period, out of the box. that was with a very minimal 5-10 winds, and about 16 hours of low activity computer wear, and 10 hours face up. i've posted many times that Seikos routinely beat my 2000 brand NEW Rolex sub, which was about 10 secs a day off, which is outside of its chronometre status. so, i can say i'm pretty pleased with the last bit of this watch to be reviewed...the engine. If you plan on buying this watch to go night diving or you want to read the time in dark situations, this is not the watch for you. Movement Strengths: Omega has spent decades refining and honing its Seamaster collection… which has actually resulted in a huge amount of variety. At the top of the ladder when it comes to fancy dive watches is the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean, which combines the appeal of a serious diving tool with a good-looking lifestyle product. The Planet Ocean is just sober enough to not look showy, but it certainly has an impressive wrist presence and a lot of very attractive movements today.

I am going to include the pushers in this section, they actually unscrew and operate the inside dials as you would think they would. I was surprised they operated nicely. Crystal How it compares: Comparing the Omega Planet Ocean to the Rolex Submariner really depends on the model since Omega makes not only different sizes, but different versions – and that applies even to just the three-hand automatic models (the image above shows the Planet Ocean Master Chronometer). There is no perfect 40mm-wide analog, but there are Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean models similar to the Rolex Submariner in terms of features and size. While Rolex still arguably wins when it comes to fit and finishing, Omega is clearly chasing Rolex when it comes to movement performance, dial and case construction, as well as overall popularity. It’s certainly worth a close look.

Loreo Watches Review: Recommendations

This one happens to be an homage cross between a Rolex Daytona and a Yachtmaster in my opinion, but Loreo makes a ton of colors and styles of this model. They are all great value for money and all contain an automatic movement and sapphire crystal. There are tons of options to choose from. This dials in the center are obviously not for a chronograph. They are day, month and hour, and you can set them. They do work as intended. I think if you have a slimmer wrist this might be a good one for you. I think you could just squeeze it under a shirt sleeve in a dress shirt. Bezel insert. It is aluminium bezel insert, so it is not very resistant to scratches. I was playing with a puppy and it scratched the bezel insert on the first day. I bought a ceramic bezel from AliExpress, made for Submariner (38mm diameter), but it is a half millimeter too big :( Well, this is where Loreo probably saved some money, because the lume on this watch is pretty pitiful. There just isn’t much there.
