One day whilst hanging in his tree Sloth see’s something on the floor and goes to investigate. It is a comic book with a caped crusader. Sloth read the comic over and over and decided he wanted to be a superhero. Overall this is such a funny story with some brilliant illustrations and a great message for children, showing how we all have unique things we can do, unique skills and we should be proud of them and who we are. 🙂 It’s definitely a book that will put a smile on your face and make you laugh and one that I would recommend. Super Sloth isn’t fast. He can’t fly. But he is very, very good at moving slowly and looking just like a greenish bit of tree. When his arch enemy Anteater makes off with some prize mangoes, Super Sloth vows to save the day … eventually. And something extra special… this story shines a subtle light on genetics and science. It could just be me who's fascinated and obsessed with genetic manipulation and gene-splicing technology, but I really think this is something kids are going to be intrigued by. Without overshadowing the story, a little spotlight hovers above the subject matter, sparking ideas and questions for curious minds keen to know more. Love it! Will Sloth be able to infiltrate Anteater's lair and stop him from living the high life with the best mango juice? Will Super Sloth save the day?
