In term of shade Fenix often opts for the cold-white version for almost all its models and the LR35R is no exception. When the batteries are low, you’ll get about 7 more hours to replace them before the Low Voltage Protection kicks in.

It is good to know that the (valuable) 21700 batteries are included; you can, after removing the protective cap, immediately get to work. This flashlight will accumulate a lot of heat when used for extended periods, resulting in high temperature of the flashlight shell.

The LR35R is wrapped in a cardboard box that features the light on the front of the box and below it its most important features. Nothing could be further from the truth: the LR35R is clearly shorter than the TK35 while both heads have the same diameter.

The Fenix LR35R is a handheld flashlight with an incredible maximum outpuf of 10000 lumens from the 6 x Luminus SST-40 LEDs. The entire design is enhanced with milled out 'ridges' that each have a different function: they dissipate the heat, provide you with a better grip and ensure that you can put the light down without it rolling away. I have tons of incan flashlights, some standard, some modified, some highly modified but all are very usable and I get an instant grin on my face whenever I switch on my 2. Again, this is a personal opinion, but a Eco of 50 lumens (according to the manual) is not Eco at all, and a Low of 450 lumens doesn’t sound very ‘low’ either.On the road you can also clearly see that the TK72R cannot bridge massive distances, but still provides you with a lot of even light.
