I didn’t think that the Lacura Healthy Glow Tonic would do this but to my pleasant surprise, it does exactly the same. And as with all skincare containing acids, we’d recommend keeping topped up with SPF at it can increase sun sensitivity in general. This might include changes to allergy advice, ingredient lists, nutritional guides or dietary advice. The Lacura Healthy Glow definitely gives a little tingle when activating on your skin, which is exactly what I got with the Pixi one.

The generic term for nice smelling stuff put into cosmetic products so that the end product also smells nice. It’s definitely a smart thing to avoid with sensitive skin (and fragrance of any type - natural is just as allergic as synthetic, if not worse! It feels instantly refreshing on skin, and while our face tingled a little afterwards, we didn’t see irritation.I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Damask Rose Flower Water, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Elderflower Water, Glycerin, and Sodium Hyaluronate, I thought that it had a very overpowering fresh and floral yet ever so slightly synthetic Rose scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had poured an entire Bucket of Water over a massive Bouquet of Roses. One product which really made me stand up and take note is the newly released Lacura Healthy Glow Exfoliating toner. If you can’t offer any reply, what toner can you recommend for someone with really oily/sensitive skin, that isn’t going to put a dent in my pocket. As you can see, Aldi have gone for the similar pink-tinted plastic packaging (although it is a little bit darker in Lacura’s case). This Pixi glow tonic dupe shares glycolic acid and aloe vera ingredients in common with the original and we can see a close similarity between the two bottles too. As far as skincare goes, sodium hyaluronate and hyaluronic acid are pretty much the same and the two names are used interchangeably. The Rose Hot Cloth Cleanser even comes with a muslin cloth, to use it with, allowing you to melt away your makeup and impurities whilst gently exfoliating the skin at the same time.

I know it’s oil, but it’s not actually greasy and sinks into your skin rather than sitting on the surface.
