Acting in this series is top notch literally you will cry because of dialogue delievery and face expression solely . the main character “Cevdet” relies on the lifetime of Mustafa Mümin Aksoy, whose nickname was “Gavur Mümin. Aksoy infiltrated the Greek military and became a trusted advisor who was welcomed in many Greek homes and parties.

His morals are unbreakable and keep on coflicting throughout the show which makes him very relatable and manages to keep the show interesting throughout its long run. When he did not give the weapons to Mustafa Kemal and showed himself as a hero, he started to be defined as a bad character. The torturer who killed Ölmez Hasan's son, Haydar and Mustafa Sami is also the officer who thinks Cevdet is a traitor. They fight to survive, to stay together, to stay apart, to understand the whirlwind of their circumstances.

Her motherly love towards everyone around her never stands in the way of protecting her family; it is really intriguing to observe how those two principles clash when her double-agent husband comes into play. I actually felt sorry for this character near the end as he dealt an interesting hand and manipulated me as well as Rebecca! I had no idea what to expect as I hadn't heard of it but I was going to several films during the festival and this one was just a last minute decision. They may criticize each other, fight, even divorce out of necessity, but their mutual trust never fades and is reflected in their eyes with every dialogue.If you have watched indian shows or even indian web series based on our history you would know that even after we have a rich history and many historical stories , our show and series makers never do justice with them , with our wars , struggles for independence and so on . Vatanım Sensin (English title: Wounded Love) is aTurkishtelevision period drama about the last years ofthe Ottoman Empireandthe Turkish War of Independence. I enjoy watching him display the traditional heroic traits like courage and persistence as well as the grief and despair in times of chaos. The framerate of the show doesn't seem to be the usual 60fps which gives it a slightly nicer movie-like feel than that of usual soap-operas. She raises her children while fighting the difficulties of the war period and her husband’s absence whom she loves more than anything.

I was completely overwhelmed with such an amazing story, incredible characters, and the element of surprises I went through in every single episode. Tevfik, the traitor, secretly loves Azize for a long time and betrays his close friend mainly for this reason.There are true to life characters such as General Cevdet (played by Halit Ergenc) who represents the life of Mümin Aksoy, a Turkish soldier and spy working for Turkish intelligence. Cevdet (Halit Ergenc) is a successful commander of the Ottoman Empire who is fighting for his country in the Balkans War. You hardly get any inspiration from Those shows but this gem of a show will make you realise all those struggles .

This show should be there on netflix for all to know , its not fair that it is not world famous and many people are losing the chance to experience this beautiful potrayal . Even though the farm and its office were handled by Tevfik for a while, he became the most powerful efe again as before. While raising the flag from the ground in Episode 15, he is shot in the heart by Stavro and dies on the spot. Mustafa Kemal Ataturk won that war for Independence and initiated numerous economic, social, and political reforms that transformed Turkey into a secular and prosperous nation.In the final episode, which is the 59th episode, Cevdet, together with Leon, misled Filipos again and gave the necessary time and support to the Turkish Army. Instead, this is an intimate portrait of a beautiful Turkish family affected in various ways by war and their commitment to stand against the invaders of their land and home, even at a very high cost that threatens to destroy the family and the deep and abiding love they have for one another.
