T-Ring (Nikon) – To capture photos with your NIKON DSLR using Telescope tube as high focal length lens for camera. Many of the other fittings on the tube, such as the castings at the ends of the tube and the spider holding the secondary mirror in place, are plastic, so you need to be especially careful not to smack the telescope into anything, as repair or replacement of damaged plastic parts is next to impossible.

While still subpar, even the equatorially mounted version of the AstroMaster 76 at least offers fine adjustment for its pointing which makes it a little more useful.

With an aperture of 76mm, fully coated lens and ability to gather 118 times the light of the human eye you get a clear, bright image.
