For the smaller cooler, the 20-quart, we saw ice retention numbers from around 2-3 days. And for the larger 55-quart size, ice numbers increased to approximately 3 days up to nearly 6. The description says ice lasts 3 days. I've never seen ice last anywhere close to this, but we are opening the cooler often when we use it. We were on a boat in the Hawaiian sun for about five hours, and the ice was almost all completely melted by the end of our time, but the water was still very cold.
