My personal opinion for this lip balm is that it keeps my lips moisturized and hydrated for ample time and gives my lips a natural, nourishing and sheer finish. Unlike a lot of fruity lip balms I like the tint in the fact that it’s not a white lip balm that will leave white cast on my lips. This is so easy to just throw in your purse or backpack, and the lid is really easy to get off because it just twists off.

Another fruity favourite, our Swipe It Lip Balm will give your pout a moisture hit and silky smooth finish. The former one is common for oils and waxes and it means that it sits on top of the skin hindering water to evaporate out of the top layers. Being very orangey it doesn't leave any colour on your lips and is very neutral - its more the gold shimmer you see when your lips hit the light. OMG guys, I’m so happy that I got the last four Born Lippy lip balms that I needed, after trying the strawberry one I wanted to try the rest!Similar to other plant oils, it's loaded with nourishing and moisturizing fatty acids: it's a high linoleic acid oil (70%) and has only smaller amounts of oleic acid (11%) ( this might be great for acne-prone skin). This smell reminds me more of a satsuma peel rather than the orange itself (not a bad thing) and is very shimmery - so probably not one (as a guy) that I would wear out. Follow with a sweep of our moisture-rich Lip Care Sticks to keep your pout feeling soft, hydrated and looking luscious on-the-go. I also got back into these in University and picked up this flavour which I loved and then promptly forgot about them until a friend bought me a couple. One of my favorite things about this lip balm is the adorable little plastic tub it comes in, it is so nice and the little label with the lips on it is so cute.

Other than that, it is a very effective emollient and occlusive that reduces skin moisture loss so it is quite common in smaller amounts in moisturizers.The problem with linalool is, that just like limonene it oxidises on air exposure and becomes allergenic. You can simply apply it by using your fingers, which I know sounds a bit unhygienic, but unless it’s only you using it and your fingers are all clean, then it’s fine. Although these look quite bold in the pot, the tint is very minimal on these but I don’t think that the tint is the main selling point. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. It is also more glossy than other oils, in fact, it creates the highest gloss of all natural oils when applied to the skin.

They are pretty moisturizing, I’ve heard so many people saying that these aren’t moisturizing but for me they are. I love these Born Lippy lip balms so much, I highly recommend them but only if you like strong scents and flavors. Overall, I actually really like these, if you prefer hard, stick lip balms then you may not like this but if you’re the sort of person who reaches for Vaseline then I do think that this is a step up and I’d definitely recommend them. I’m really happy I got this lip balm, it turned out to be a really good product and I look forward to trying more of them in the future!I did find it a little sticky (for girls that may be an issue with longer hair) but not for me :) It tastes and smells amazing. This ideal lip balm requires only a very little amount to be applied on the lips and it has an extremely lightweight formula. Compared to the pure form it's more stable, has longer shelf life, but it's also more poorly absorbed by the skin. Last but by no means least, our pocket-friendly powerhouse, Shea Lip Butter – enriched with Community Fair Trade shea butter goodness.

It’s a super sweet scent that stays on your lips for a while, so you’ll smell it for a while after you put it on, but it’s not too strong.

There are too many flaws in this product and I shall be pointing them out to you in points as the nerd in me says so. The watermelon lip balm is a very subtle lip balm (in colour) but does leave your lips with a nice shine. Simply rub the butter between your fingers to warm it, and the crystals will instantly melt so you can apply as normal. So to kick start the month I am starting up with a review of one of my favourite lip product, something that I think I am incomplete without! The lip balm I used previously required reapplication almost after every 3 hours, meaning that they couldn’t even keep my lips hydrated for half the amount of time they promised to.
