It was sold originally as a short tactical flashlight, but it seems like it has become more of a mix between an EDC flashlight and Tactical flashlight. if you want to use the Warrior 3 with a gun, you can get the optional remote pressure switch that attaches to the rear end. The Warrior series is very popular, and the one we are reviewing today is the 3rd edition of the very popular Olight Warrior Mini series. This tactical flashlight has all the features necessary to make it a valuable everyday carry flashlight. The strobe mode could scare a mugger and potentially SAVE YOUR LIFE!

The default configuration has 4 options. Medium (Momentary on), Medium (continuous), Turbo (Momentary On), and Turbo (continuous). Level 1 will run at 2300 lumens for 2.5 minutes before dropping down to 800 lumens with an additional run time of 160 minutes – this is to prevent the LED from overheating, it will then drop down to 250 lumens, with a further run time of 39 minutes I tested this with the Warrior 3S, and discharged so the light would show 3 battery levels, and the Warrior 3S could return to Turbo mode! But, it won’t run Turbo right after it dropped down… this is likely temperature controlled. So you need to let it cool down a bit before you can hit Turbo again. I didn’t measure Low and Moon, because they are supposed to run for 165 hours and 100 days respectively. Mode I reviewed the Olight Warrior 3—a tactical flashlight that illuminates the value of a high-quality flashlight. Over the course of several weeks, I got a true feel for how this upgraded Warrior flashlight performs. What’s in the Box?This flashlight may be compact, but its abilities are anything but. I easily adapted to switching between modes as needed by holding the button down for a few seconds. The highest setting requires that you push the button twice, which is easy enough as well. Olight includes an MCC3magnetic charging cable, and it doesn’t accept any older MCC’s. They use a proprietary charging system to guarantee the best possible performance and safety. Charging with the cable takes about 3 hours, but the green light will indicate the end of charge, but it’s not 100% charged yet. When the light turns green, the battery is about 95% charged. Both these models update the popular M2R Pro Warrior with a higher output, and design changes to both the tail switch and side switch, yet retains the compact size, 21700 lithium-ion battery power source and deeper knurling design. It features a maximum output of 1750 lumens, before dropping down to 500 lumens after 2 minutes to prevent the LED from overheating. It will run at 500 lumens for 210 minutes before dropping a final time to 200 lumens for 30 minutes.

Indicator Lights: There are two sets of indicator lights that run along the side button. One tells you what brightness level your beam is on and the other tells you your remaining battery level. Olight doesn’t specify their LEDs. But if you know what type of LEDs are currently around, you’ll be able to identify it. And since I reviewed flashlights recently with the exact same LED, I can tell for sure it’s a Luminus LED. And to be precise it’s a Luminus SFT70. The Olight Warrior Mini 3 seems to be a worthy successor to the popular Warrior Mini line of flashlights. Output is higher, throw is farther, size is smaller – what else would you want? Well, they’ve also improved the tail switch, and I’d say the side e-switch is improved, too. It’s a great little light! The Olight Warrior 3 has a different kind of UI from other well-known brands. You can use the tailcap and the side switch to activate the light. But keep in mind that the tailcap functions differently from the side switch. Unlike on some other Olights, the charging base here is also a switch! It’s a very good switch and I do love it. The two rings you see below are all part of just one switch, and they actuate together (or really are just one piece). They’re separated for electrical reasons (that is: charging). All of my readings were taken from a fully-charged Olight battery. I charged it in a normal charger, so it charged to 100% instead of the 95% from the built-in charger. Mode Apart from that, the medium mode hits the perfect middle ground when it comes to brightness and runtime, 200 lumens for 13 hours, that amount of light and runtime also make this a worthy everyday carry light.
