Heather’s journey from being released to trying to piece together what actually happened that horrific night all while being a mother who has been wrenched apart from her two sons for over a decade made for such a compelling story. Fast-paced and gripping, T.M. Logan has truly outdone himself with his newest masterpiece! My early experiences of Tim Logan's books ended in varying degrees of disappointment. I found that they either flattered to deceive, or else they simply didn't live up to the amount of hype surrounding them. All of that changed when I read his excellent previous novel, "The Curfew" and this latest offering is again forcing me to re-evaluate my earlier impression of this author.
