A family of collectable pig money boxes was created and these were gained by accounts saving regular amounts. Banks and building societies have given away hundreds of thousands of piggy banks over the years, but one lender, in particular, took the form forward and created a market for its very own pigs. NatWest Bank in the United Kingdom came up with the idea of creating collectibles out of a family of pigs in an attempt to attract young people.
