When the timer runs out, the second player takes his or her turn following the same guidelines above. At the end of the second player’s turn, each player counts the number of cards in the pile on their left. The player with the most cards wins. It goes for approximately 3 minutes. So, if you are using a replacement timer for Hedbanz, it is best to set it at around 3 minutes. To play without a timer, limit the number of questions each player can ask other players. If they cannot guess the card within that number of questions, their turn ends. Competitive level: Some games are more competitive than others and there’s nothing wrong with nurturing a competitive spirit – games can help children learn to win or lose with grace and respect. Alternatively, you can encourage a child’s ability to work with others by choosing cooperation games instead.
