Description

The: White Faced Steel Tape with Premium Adhesive Backing, Magnetic Tape with White Foamed Adhesive Backing, and an an IPA cleaning wipe. The colour references given are the closest found on the various standards charts, and are strictly or guisance purposes only. This glazing kit consists of a clear as glass acrylic pane which is held in position at your window with a self adhesive powerful magnetic tape (10m long, 25mm wide) - instantly attachable and detachable for great convenience. Easy window measuring form – download and print our handy form and use it to record your measurements. I found that its useful to have a long straight edge or ruler held down by heavy weights to guide placing the magnetic tape on the plastic sheet: I got a much neater result than trying by eye.

Cut the PVC strip using the mitre gauge and seal it around the edges of your 2mm acrylic or plastic pane. Steel tape is stuck to the window surround and magnetic tape to a glazing sheet so the sheet clips onto the steel to create a thermal seal, which provides excellent insulation. You could also use Black Opaque acrylic which will create a Blackout window to stop light coming in.
