Heading for a date, a party, or just meeting some friends? Lattafa Asad Eau de Parfum is the right choice in any situation. Asad Perfume by Lattafa Perfumes is excellent whenever you want to shine. Discover a fragrance that will always bring out your unique charisma. According to the general consensus, this is supposed to be a clone of Dior Sauvage Elixir. I haven’t smelt Sauvage elixir, though, so I’ll review this one as its own thing. Now compared to Angels Share, this has no apple note (to my nose), it's jsut focused on the spice and warmth, it has typical arabian fragrance scent, whereas Angels Share is much sweeter, with that hypnotising boozyness and prominent apple pie. I'm coming in here with no experience with Dior Sauvage Elixir but of course I have the EDT so I have nothing to compare it to except Dior Sauvage EDT. But what does Asad have to do with a tilted neighborhood now? Quite simply, he doesn't like my presence at all. You can tell when he sees me or senses me, his pulse and anger/frustration levels rise. His face also turns red.

Khamrah by Lattafa is akin to stepping into a cozy pastry shop during the heart of winter. It immediately envelops you in a warm embrace with its rich and sweet fragrance, reminiscent of cinnamon, dates, vanilla, and praline. Asad, I get 9 to 10 hours, and I can still smell it on clothing at least the next day. though the smell is different from elixer.Honestly, since this happened between us, I always want to leave a lasting impression. Asad nicely overdosed on clothes does a really good job. This perfume makes a lasting impression. Both the cellar and the stairwell smell intensely of me for a long time. He doesn't like it, but I like it even more.

THE DRYDOWN HOWEVER... Is just so good. Beautifully blended peppery, woody, ambery, sweet... i can also smell some cinnamon in there. So i would suggest letting it drydown before other can smell it. Fragrance Perfume Smells Simillar to: DiorSauvage Elixirexcept with less of a 'sparkling' effervescent smell. I don't allow myself to spend the kind of prices Sauvage Elixir retails for on a fragrance so I decided to take the plunge with Lattafa's more affordable option instead. Well, I wasn't disappointed. Asad was most surely inspired by the Dior, of course it's not 100% alike but there's no denying the similarity. I find the opening of Asad a little less remarkable or 'bright' than Elixir's, but I don't mind this too much as even though some character is perhaps lost, I find the drydown to be the nicest part!In essence, Asad is a reminder that the finest scents, like life's most profound experiences, require time and belief to fully reveal their splendor. Where do I begin with this fragrance! I came across it online a few weeks ago and couldn't find it here on fragrantica and none of my friends had tried it Like all Lattafa - let it macerate for months and get some air in the bottle along the way. Go ahead and spray and enjoy in this phase but really they all smell better 6 months on. Or a year on. Vanilla leads into the dry down. Warm and woody tinges support it from below. The rest of the wear is sweet vanilla, amber, wood, and lingering spice.

Asad announces its presence with unapologetic sillage, capable of making a statement in any setting. However, it isn't all about strength. The dry-down is where Asad truly sings — a blend of amber and vanilla rounds out the experience, softening the earlier intensity into a creamy, sophisticated finish that lingers pleasantly. I must say, after 2-3 hours the powdery, slightly dry, vanilla dry-down is very reminiscent of what Borouj Perlador does on my skin (... which is a PDM Carlisle clone itself lol). Except this is more drier and powdery, and Perlador takes much more then 2-3 hours to get to that point, as it's also much stronger. Newer formulations of Red Tobacco end up at a similar point in the late dry-down - but again RT is stronger, and this is drier and more powdery. I'm careful not to get overlapping fragrances, yet for the first time I feel like I'm super close to redundant territory. I wish this held the lavender, licorice and spices for longer, which is what sets this apart from the other ones mentioned. Great sharing ‘lad/ladette/non-binary’ Ibiza/Mykonos/Gran Canaria clubbing type holiday scent… smells expensive so date night friendly too… great GOTH scent as well…. So literally anyone… if you like spice you’ll like this. Nice box, Heavy ‘Meh’ bottle.I get a heavy juicy pineapple at top. Then it goes into a spicy mid. I do not know why I get the pepper in the mid not the top (perhaps it merges with the patchouli? The base is heavy with the vanilla, amber, woods (it comes off as sandalwood to my nose) and some benzoin. Really good and complex combination of strong warm spice and vanilla on the opening and adds sweetness and slight wood, powder and lavender hints on the drydown On the deep dry down, it starts to mellow down into this kind of smokey and creamy sweetness with a very noticeable Amber accord. There’s also something in this, that vaguely and briefly reminds me of the baccarat rouge dna(maybe it’s the ambergris/ambroxan?) Asad is the perfume that makes Sauvage Elixir obsolete. Asad comes really close to Sauvage Elixir, but has a certain twist of its own. The fragrance is just great, on the one hand because the fragrance notes go well together, on the other hand because the longevity and sillage are really good. I like the spicy-sweet-slightly fruity scent of Asad better than the scent of Sauvage Elixir, which has a note that I don't like at all.
