This is exactly what other bamboo-based toilet roll companies – both Bazoo and Bumboo who are based in the UK. They sell both unwrapped and wrappped versions of their loo rolls. I use Ecologi for my tree planting and carbon offsetting who are brilliant. So, how are Serious Tissues carbon neutral? Both types of toilet rolls are also really long. At 400 and 370 sheets per roll, this number can be double the length of your usually supermarket toilet papers, such as Andrex, Velvet and the like. This makes the price per sheet very competitive. While not exactly ­zero waste, they do provide atree-freeway to be less wasteful about your wiping. For me, I was obsessed with the idea of no longer buying rolls of toilet paper that came in that annoyingly thin clear plastic that’s so hard for consumers to recycle. And the onus falls on to us to deal with it, not the huge companies producing it.
