Amy has to deal with gravity fatigue, having never dealt with true gravity on her little space station, as well as completely new technology, fashion and catching up on 30 years worth of history. She also has a strange form of synesthesia where she sees people's personalities as a quite literal flavor, describing her parents as mint and chocolate. This adds a much more interesting element to the story as a whole, but we'll get into that later.
