We recommend choosing leather over suede if you want a more durable, weather-proof boot. However, if you live in drier areas and want something stylish, suede is an excellent choice since they do go better with formal settings. As usual, this is a fresh out of the box fit test and my first impressions. Unfortunately, I can’t wear all of these in for months to see how they evolve. I do recall my old “Originals” getting better over time, though. I suspect that all of these will feel looser as they break in, so take that for what it’s worth.
