Whilst those classic Orks are looking rather fun as always, it does also point out how different they look compared to the new Orks we've been seeing pop up on vehicles and now in Ghazghkull himself. Right until the final episode, various characters quote a prophecy that says, more or less, "Beware the witch with the blood of the lion and the wolf, for she will destroy the Children of the Night," which drives a lot of the fear surrounding Diana (whom most people seem to take for that witch), though Satu often claims that she is that witch. Heidi they called her, whithersoe’r she came, the well-foreseeing Vala: wolves she tamed, magic arts she knew, magic arts practised; ever was she the joy of evil people. The sun darkens, earth in ocean sinks, fall from heaven the bright stars, fire’s breath assails the all-nourishing tree, towering fire plays against heaven itself. Benjamin was the twelfth son of Jacob and the second son born to him by Rachel, his beloved and dearest wife. When Benjamin’s older brother was born, he was named Joseph, which means may He add–a pious prayer that was granted when Joseph’s younger brother was born. His birth, however, was an event of joy mixed with sorrow. Genesis 35:16-20 records the events: “And they journeyed from Bethel; and there was but a little way to come to Ephrath: and Rachel travailed, and she had hard labor. And it came to pass, when she was in hard labor, that the midwife said unto her, Fear not; thou shalt have this son also. And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing (for she died), that she called his name Benoni: but his father called him Benjamin. And Rachel died, and was buried in the way to Ephrath, which is Bethlehem. And Jacob set a pillar upon her grave: that is the pillar of Rachel’s grave unto this day.”

Prophecy of the Wolf Value Breakdown

The next evidence of Benjamin’s “raven­ous” character is one of the truly dark spots in Israel’s history. In the anarchic days when “every man did that which was right in his own eyes” (Jud. 17:6; 21:25), Benjamin was at the center of a devastating civil war among the tribes. Responding to the brutality of the men of Gibeah (described graphically in Jud.19), the other tribes launched a disciplinary action against Benjamin (Jud. 20). Thence come maidens, much knowing, three from the hall, which under that tree stands; Urd hight the one, the second Verdandi,—on a tablet they graved—Skuld the third. Laws they established, life allotted to the sons of men; destinies pronounced. Then comes the mighty one to the great judgment, the powerful from above, who rules o’er all. He shall dooms pronounce, and strifes allay, holy peace establish, which shall ever be. Until there came three mighty and benevolent Æsir to the world from their assembly. They found on earth, nearly powerless, Ask and Embla, void of destiny.

The part of the prophecy saying "she will destroy the children of the night"...in the book it's made clear that the vampires have reigned supreme over all other creatures for centuries, and view witches and deamons as inferior. Diana 'destroys' the vampires rule and brings them down to size by decoding the 'book of life' and bringing the truth of all creature DNA to light. Then arises Hlîn’s second grief, when Odin goes with the wolf to fight, and the bright slayer of Beli with Surt. Then will Frigg’s beloved fall. Then can Hoenir choose his lot, and the two brothers’ sons inhabit the spacious Vindheim. Understand ye yet, or what?
