Things take a turn for the worse (hard as that is to believe) when someone starts kidnapping elves to turn them into some sort of Human Santapede (or Inhuman, or (In)Human). Luckily the snow had started to peter out, and with that, the elves could dig themselves out of their little homes and finally get back to work.

Okay, so with it being the season of goodwill and all, what better time to settle down to a nice heart-warming story of festive joviality.Set against a backdrop of a turbulent era, in which plucky little elves stand up for what they believe in and forge a new destiny for themselves. Generally enjoyed the story which, for full effect, should definitely be read over the Christmas period. Sure, the book isn't going to win the Booker Prize, or even change your life (though it might give you a few weird dreams), but who gives a toss about those things? I laughed and enjoyed this silly, weird (In)Human Santapede parade because I have the sense of humor of a five year old.
