Dan turns 26 in The Wolf-Man, yet this has never been mentioned in the series and Dan looks no different. The story is told in a way that leaves a lot of questions unanswered throughout. Most of these look to have been left unanswered until the sequels too. This isn't necessarily a bad thing but it also makes the story harder to rate in terms of 1-5*. Just by her over-whelming, adorable cuteness, she can calm Dan down into normal levels of human functioning with her extreme love. In turn, Dan can never say no to this figure of absolute affection and kindness and always gives in to her tummy rubs. Dan is extremely loved and is soothed by his kitten, Mr. Mumbles even forgiving her for sending Chris off the roof or leaving him in his time of need (ep.19 - Dan Vs. The Family Camping Trip). He's a jerk as his shirt implies, yet an affectionate sap in the hands of his kitten. The most recently known living condition of a family member is Dan's Grandmother, as he spoke on the phone with her in Dan vs. the Dentist, but she has apparently died since then. In the beginning of Baseball, he was driving home from a funeral, and considering the timeline of the episodes, it was most likely for his Grandmother. Dan also has a dead, successfully wealthy, uncle, as mentioned in Golf. Dan has previously dug up his grave to steal his uncle's suit. Dan briefly mentions his grandfather in Vegetables, stating that he lived a lengthy 108 years. In 2015, it was revealed that Mumbles sloppy speech patterns carry over to his written/typed communications.
