The official synopsis for the series says: "When a body – the same body – is found on Longharvest Lane in London's East End in 1890, 1941, 2023 and 2053, one detective from each period must investigate. While intricate care has been taken to braid together the multiple plot strands that all join together to the limit of my understanding, there are also nice touches in perfecting the subtler details, such as the changing fashions and accents of London. Starring Amandla Stenberg, Maria Bakalova, Pete Davidson, Rachel Sennott, Myha’la Herrold, Chase Sui Wonders and Lee Pace.

But to have that mixed in with horror will be so much fun, because sometimes, we need some good scary moments that will make us laugh but also make us scream. Bee is the working-class girlfriend of Sophie, and new to their group of friends; she is naive to the kind of party they host and eats a large amount of cake without realizing it is an edible. As connections are drawn across the decades, the detectives soon discover their investigations are linked, and an enigmatic political leader – Elias Mannix – becomes increasingly central. The group discovers Greg has a go bag with a knife and a map of the area and become suspicious of him.

First on the scene, though, is charming local journalist Henry Ashe (George Parker), who raises Hillinghead’s suspicions when he’s found taking photographs. The joy in writing it is seeing how the audience will then put things together, sometimes ahead of the characters, but also sometimes there’ll be behind. Keep your eye out for stars in this one, because Bodies Bodies Bodies is going to be filled to the brim with them. The Bodies cast sees Stephen Graham ( Time, Boiling Point) playing the central figure of Elias Mannix (see main first look picture above) who seems to tie events together. They have their own issues - Hillinghead is working in grubby Victorian London; Whiteman in the thick of the Blitz - but much the same questions. While Hasan is investigating, the narrative shifts: back in 1890 and 1941, inspectors Hillinghead (Kyle Soller, of Poldark fame, and whom London theatre audiences will recognise from The Inheritance) and Whiteman (Jacob Fortune-Lloyd: The Great and Wolf Hall) respectively stumble across the same poor fella.

Spending most of his time watching new movies at the theater or classics on TCM, some of Michael's favorite movies include Casablanca, Moulin Rouge! Anxious about fitting in, the quiet and reserved Bee soon begins to open up to her girlfriend’s pals as everyone indulges in an onslaught of drugs and alcohol.
