This keyboard has very decent reception, I am typing this review on this keyboard right now as we speak, and I am making very little errors. The keyboard uses scissor lift keys, and because of that, is why the keyboard can be so incredibly thin, as opposed to standard mechanical keyboards. The key presses are very soft, nothing like standard mechanical, so you don't have to worry about bothering people in your home, or room dorm. But the keys are not mushy like membrane keyboards either, its literally the best of both worlds. The reset button on a wireless keyboard is usually located underneath the keyboard, though it may also be located on the receiver. To reset the keyboard, you must press and hold the button for a few seconds until the keyboard resets. How Do I Unfreeze My Keyboard? PREVIOUS: As others reviewed, this keyboard is always going into sleep modeeeeee, and it willlll take 3 seconds to wake it, you have to wait for the characters to show up after it woke uuuuup. And as others have noted, theresss's a lot of repeating characters. I didn't cared to correct them as I typed this on this keyboard. If you need to do a fair amount of writing, you may find trying to type directly on a tablet a bit of an inconvenience. That’s where a Bluetooth keyboard comes in. This handy device wirelessly connects to a variety of electronic devices via Bluetooth technology. It basically has the ability to turn your smartphone or tablet into a mini-computer. Use a USB cable to plug one end into your computer and the other into the keyboard. Keep it until it’s fully charged. The USB cable transmits data to the computer, so you can use it while charging.

Pairing the keyboard is as easy as pressing the “Connect” button next to the on/off switch and selecting Bluetooth keyboard 3.0 from your device’s Bluetooth menu. This worked as expected when I connected the HB030B with my Windows laptop, iPhone, and Android phone. But when I paired it with my MacBook Air, the keyboard showed up as a string of numbers, and then only when I opened my Bluetooth preferences. As a gamer, mechanical wired keyboards are a must! However, when it comes to portable on the go, where you need a keyboard for a notebook or tablet computer, bluetooth is the way to go. The first wireless based keyboard I tried, was a Roswell brand about 10-years ago, it was a serious piece of junk, keystrokes wouldn't register half the time, so I gave up on wireless keyboards, until now.

If your keyboard only uses Bluetooth and does not have a connect button, you must fix it from the device settings. For Windows users: Bluetooth keyboards made of hard plastic instead of metal are not as durable and are often susceptible to chipping. While this is a full sized keyboard, and I appreciate that, as I like to use the NUM-PAD keys, it is however condensed for portable use. As such, this keyboard doesn't use the natural spacing that you might be used to. It will cause you to have to re-train your hand typing a little bit. However, having said that, I do find this keyboard easy to type on most of the time, and I am able to maintain a solid 30 words per minute average. The keyboard comes with a rechargeable lithium battery that lasts up to six months on a single charge. You can also plug it into any USB port to save energy when not in use. In addition, there’s an auto-sleep feature which powers down the keyboard after 15 minutes of inactivity to save power even more.

If your Bluetooth keyboard doesn’t connect to Windows 10 after the most recent update, you can use the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter or update the Bluetooth driver. Alternatively, you can change your “Intel ® Centrino ® Wireless Bluetooth ® 3.0 + High-Speed Adapter” to “Generic Bluetooth Driver.” The steps are as follows: Pay attention to the size of the keys on the Bluetooth keyboard. Some are very small, which is not only uncomfortable for individuals with larger fingers but can also lead to mistakes when typing.Next review the connection modes. Some Bluetooth keyboards are wireless-only via Bluetooth technology. Others offer both, a connection via Bluetooth or a connection via USB cable. The keyboard will automatically use the Bluetooth mode unless you plug in a USB cable, and then it will switch to USB mode. A keyboard with dual modes is great because it gives you options.
