The second Alex Ross line to be released by DC Direct, the Alex Ross Justice Leagueseries is based on Alex Ross’ Justice, a twelve-issue limited comic book run that ran between 2005 to 2007. The Joker serves absolutely no story purpose whatsoever, but Braithwaite and Ross turn out several great pictures of him.But it’s just the latest attempt at world domination — and our heroes strive to expose the truth, to fight…for JUSTICE!

This features more members of the Justice League of America: Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Aquaman, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, Black Canary, and The Martian Manhunter. He does this in his overcomplicated way by having Toyman make prosthetics for people which slowly turn them into robots. I would get lost for a little bit and have to back track to who was fighting who as what was going down.

While it is always cool to see hordes of your favorite heroes and villains on the same page you often lose sight of the storyline. Used books have different signs of use and might not include supplemental materials such as CDs, Dvds, Access Codes, charts or any other extra material. And then you put them all in the same room and everyone needs to have a line of dialogue and somehow have that dialogue reflect their character or whatever and it all gets a little, you know, sad, and overblown, and kind of every bad stereotype about superhero comics gets played out in horrible, exacting detail. So let’s address that: this book is nearly 400 pages long for a story that could’ve been told in a third of that space.

And, like Batman continuing to collect dangerous info ripe for any villain to steal and use against the heroes again, Brainiac is locked up so he can one day escape and try all of this once more when he inevitably escapes. The vivid dream is of the Justice League failing at every turn as an apocalypse wipes out all of mankind. Those who don’t mind losing a bit of imagery and prose to the spine won’t mind the TPB, but for me I would rather spend the extra cash on a version that delivers “Justice” at its full potential. Justice” is a must have for anyone who loves the Golden Age of comics and who prides themselves on their knowledge of DC’s cast of colorful characters. Between 1998 and 2003, Dini, the Emmy Award-winning producer of Batman Beyond and The New Batman/Superman Adventures, joined forces with the incomparable Ross to create six oversize tabloid editions of stories featuring the World's Greatest Super Heroes.The deadliest criminal masterminds of our time appear to be acting in concert - with a surprising plan that seeks to achieve more good than the JLA ever could! While never a member of the Legion of Doom, Joker is included in the story as a wild card, lingering in the background for the first ⅔ before acting as a catalyst for events in the final act. While it was a companion book, it was a companion to the World's Greatest Heroes series by Paul Dini and Alex Ross ( featuring Superman: Peace on Earth, Batman: War on Crime, Wonder Woman: Spirit of Truth, Shazam: Power of Hope and JLA: Liberty and Justice). DC Collectibles Hunter Your one-stop resource centre for DC Collectibles and DC Direct action figures! The Slings and Arrows Graphic Novel Guide doesn't care where you've been, where you're going or where you're located. I’m not quite sure what Justice’s overall point was at the end, other than to tell a “big budget” Super Friends story.
