Another thing to consider for adults is that safari tents will be slightly higher in price due to their luxury and larger size in comparison to camping pods which may only sleep two. They may not have a swimming pool but with private tubs and panoramic countryside views, they do offer a tranquil stay. If you are after certain types of glamping bell tents, say dog friendly, with sea views, based in the hills, or perhaps something extravagant like looking over Snowdonia mountains, be sure to enquire about the hideaway before you book. Even once you’ve sorted the main considerations, have a good old read of the description and the info for your unit – this is where you’ll find out what’s provided (think woodburning stove, blankets, kitchen kit, firepit, bathroom facilities) and what you’ll need to bring along (perhaps bedding, toiletries, tea bags, a torch).
