These are the keywords in this friends to love Oh Cozy, he’s my absolute favorite character since he’s real. She has perfectly normal everyday problems that make her the best kind of heroine. She has baggage, trauma and personality in abundance and is all the better for it. It’s really nice to be able to read a book and have the MC normal. Not only is she a plus-size powerhouse, but she also has hobbies and reads just like us! I’ve read this twice already and kept finding more and more things I love about both of them. One thing that I can tell you that stands out in this book is how close and tight the Harris family is. They are all in each other's lives and know what's going on constantly with one another and Amy portrays that very well. It's not annoying in the least and you can feel the closeness of them all - it's contagious. And I have no doubt that is probably the same feeling in her other books as well with these brothers. I thought the two of them did a great job with the narration of Endurance but I think they topped that with the addition of the Irish and Scottish accents. Amy, you were so right when you said the Scottish accent was a "show stealer". Loved it. I may or may not have bookmarked those scenes so that I can listen to them over and over. HA!

Booker is just so damned adorable and I loved watching he and Poppy grow, and learning all about how they work/fit together. I particularly loved the moments when he would "Keeper" her. Another detail I absolutely loved was the Bookstagram and Booktok references. She took every single trend readers have been going crazy for and weaved them in do seamlessly it felt effortless. They even sometimes made me laugh out loud because I was like I LOVE WHEN GUYS DO THAT IN BOOKS. If Booker Harris doesnae fall for ye after tonight, I’m turning straight and dating ye myself, Poppet. Ye look pure, dead brilliant. A proper bonny lass.” And he may be the perfect sort of guy for the plan that she has been sitting on for over two years now. However when feelings make their final play, there is no amount of medicine in the whole world that is able to heal the damage done to their hearts. I loved that he truly doesn't care about her curves and, better yet, he absolutely adores them. Her. He adores all of her. This was truly refreshing.

Both of them had an amazing chemistry and they each had their emotional battles to deal with. I don't want to reveal anything, but it was a great addition to this series and I can't wait for the next Harris brother. Then the sex scenes hit. It's just going to be a difference of opinion with me and Daws - we just don't find the same things sexy. I do not find her sex scenes sexy. As soon as the hero starts getting into it with the heroine, I'm turned off by him and usually angry with him. They always seem like okay guys until the sex starts. I love the Harris family. Every single one of them. Booker, though, is my favorite so far. His journey, along with Poppy, from friends to lovers is filled with heartwarming childhood memories, painful past mistakes, and heated and intimate moments in the present.

Laughter, tears, off-the-charts chemistry, heart-break, heart-ache, swoons, smiles, and tons of Harris' crazy abound in this latest installment to the Harris Brothers series. Now, Cozy and Max?! YES PLEASE. Their connection was obvious from DAY ONE, and every time they touched each other I felt it😩. This might be the author’s filthiest book yet because Max and Cozy are some dirty talkers and I ate it all the way up 😂😂😂🥵🥵🥵. These two were absolutely meant to be not just sexually but emotionally as well. Both have their reasons for being hesitant about starting a new relationship but they truly complimented each other so well. Her heart plummeting as she sees them lie down. His mouth is on hers, and I gasp when I see his hand slide up her skirt. If you have yet to meet the Harris brothers, you are missing out on truly wonderful books. Amy Daws weaves romance, sports, and amazing family dynamics to create stories that are both funny and romantic. Angst. Humor. Romance. Desire. It's all part of her magic.

I’m such a fan of Amy’s work. I devoured her Harris brothers series early this year and found my favorite pregnancy trope book One Moment Please also by her, so I was honored to receive an Arc for this book!! So I had all the intentions of posting a pic of this on my kindle when I was about to start reading early this morning. A strange thing happened. It actually has not happened to me in a while so that's the strange part. I read this in one sitting! Yeah, I know! I have not been this engrossed in a book in a while that I haven't been able to put it done at least for a couple of hours to run errands and such. Yeah I started at around 7 am and the next thing I know it's 12:45pm. Yeah, errands schmerrands! Seriously though, I have not been so engrossed in a book like I was with this one. Totally had to give this it's own rating too! OMD- the H interrupts the h while she’s on a date with OM1. Nothing happens but the H marks his territory 💁🏻‍♀️ OM2 is a lifeguard and kind of flirts with h. H flips the f out. He threatens OM3 who makes lewd remarks to the h at an event

Max started off a bit grumpy but from the very beginning I knew I would love him because his daughter always came first. I not only loved how much he loved his daughters, I also loved how he treated Cozy's body insecurities. He got mad that she didn't see herself the way he did and made sure to tell her why she was perfect the way she was. Cozy was different in the beginning, she came into this book like an airhead with a very whimsical way about her but then as we get to know her we find that she gets nervous and that's when she gets a little bit crazy LOL. She is actually a very intelligent, caring and creative person. I loved that she loved Everly from the beginning. The author included a lot of scenes with the daughter Everly which is a huge plus for me since a lot Romance books tend to forget the kids in the story. This book has a few very funny scenes that had me laughing out loud but it also had some serious topics like unhealthy work environments, stress health, divorce and LGBTQ parenting. That reminds me, I need to mention how much I LOVE a book that has a couple who are divorced and can still remember that they are adults that once were in love and make sure their child sees that they can make their new dynamic work. <3 Perfection!!! I loooove Erin Mallon. She’s got such a nice voice and her male voice is pretty hot. Teddy Hamilton has a very sexy voice too, but I felt like he just sounded angry for 85% of the book. Even when the characters weren’t supposed to. He also did a great job of delivering some of the cheesier dialogue in a way that still sounded hot, so kudos. I thought cozy was a wonderful fmc. The more I read, the more I got to know her and understand why she is the way she is. It’s honestly wonderful to see how strong she is and how confident and beautiful she feels in her own skin!! I also really loved how awkward she was throughout the book, just saying the most random things. It was funny.The only thing Max loves more than success is his daughter Everly. So when her mother takes a chance at a summer overseas, Max has to find someone to stay with Everly for the summer. Enter Cozy, a wild woman with hippie ideas, who pitches a low-key summer of "doing nothing" and gets the job. It isn't long before Max is fully obsessed with his daughters nanny. Just because I’m close to my family doesn’t mean I want to make a family of my own. I’m busy enough handling all their mania. Creating my own would be exhausting.”

In comes Booker. Booker is the unassuming kind.. quiet, reserved.. not all that take-charge attitude. Unless he is on the pitch.. OR. With Poppy McAdams. His best friend. Who he couldn't possibly fancy....... Will and Lottie bringing life to this story is just so much fun and also so emotional. I swear, this audiobook is perfection. Lottie perfectly does Poppy’s parts where she sings as she talks, and just the emotion in all the voices in the tense or emotional scenes is fabulous. UPDATE: Second "read" was actually the audiobook.. and my, oh my, I was swooning away, and laughing and crying. Absolutely amazing!!!!!!

Help

Listenting to this on audio, brings all the feels and more that I had whilst I read the book earlier in the year when it was released. Will does Booker perfectly and the secondary character accents in Irish (Nigel) and particularly the Scottish accent (Andrew) are fabulous as well. Man, the Scottish accent? I literally giggled loud and hard like a schoolgirl the first part of the book that it appeared in. It made me so happy! And Will is so good, that just like if I was talking to someone with the Scottish accent, I couldn’t clearly decipher it all. A Scottish person probably could, but little old me over here in Australia? Nup. Most of it yes, but not all of it. First I want to say THANK YOU for not making me wait for an audiobook and releasing it the same day as the other editions, Second THANK YOU for casting Erin Mallon as Cozy and Teddy Hamilton as Max and last THANK YOU for giving us a Single Dad & a Plus Size Women!! These are only some of the reasons why I loved this book.
