The story builds to an exciting peak that will have you guessing until the end. A very enjoyable read! All opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own personal opinions. But this story isn't told just from Bella's perspective. She just happens to be the person that I connected with the most; take from that what you will. The setting in Greece was perfect! I appreciated the descriptions of the location and of the food.😍 🇬🇷

The narrative is not very suspenseful or dramatic; tension and anxiety is foreshadowed in that we know all six women are holding secrets but the pacing is slow, tedious and the reader has to get through a lot of filler before secrets are revealed.

I definitely would recommend this to any Reader who enjoys a lot of deep drama in their stories. We're talking interpersonal relationships so mired, you wonder why the characters are even friends. Personally, I love that. Robin and Bella had hooked up one night, but Robin pretended it didn’t happen because her parents disapproved.

With that in mind, she started to wring her novels featuring Mia and Katie the lead protagonists of her novel. She now has more than a dozen works to her name across several series and single-standing novels. It was then that she decided to set up Bright Green Enterprise, her own company that worked with secondary schools delivering social enterprise events. The crew of the pleasure boat is composed of young travelers with wanderlust and it is not long before the two girls’ dream of romance comes true.

Lucy is a passionate traveller and fresh air enthusiast. She's married to a professional windsurfer and, together with their two children, they spend their winters travelling and their summers at home by the sea. This was a semi closed room mystery that leaned more toward a character study than thriller. While I’m not always on board with character driven books, I was immersed in this one and enjoyed it a lot. Shades of Big Little Lies, there were troubling undercurrents of each character and all were lying about something. MY THOUGHTS: I have to say right off that the publicity blurb is just a little misleading. But I can't tell you how, because that would spoil it. But I will say that I didn't find the story particularly twisty, and it is more a psychological drama than thriller.
