The only thing I didn’t really enjoy with this book was the cameo POV chapters from the main characters’ parents. Because this was my first book by this author, I had no idea who these people were. I had to look up her past work to verify that I was missing something. I think these chapters will be very nostalgic for longtime readers, but as a new reader they felt like unnecessary filler and it took me out of the story. Also some of the characters have names I didn’t love but I got over it eventually lol I really like that Rina Kent has connected the two worlds of her books and because of that this series will be even more interesting than RES. i saw devlin (glyns supposed dead bff), being alive and evil a mile away. take this aspect of their plot away and kilglyn have nothing. take the one non-con scene away, these two have nothing. they could be any random college students. the tropes/darkness was there but i didn't FEEL any of it. so hence why my rating. they were a cute couple and they had their hot moments but overall the couple heavily relied on the side characters to make their book interesting.

IM IN LOVE WITH MIA SHE IS SO BADASS AND HER RELATIONSHIP WITH KILLIAN IS SO PURE THE WAY HE LITERALLY BEATS PEOPLE UP TO PROTECT HER 😭😭😭 mia is described as a goth barbie, who never speaks, but she doesn't need to use words when her glare alone burned landon to the ground. Dive in deeper into the storyline and these two were perfect for each other. I don’t think the author could’ve chosen anyone better for the other. When dark and light collided it was a perfect match. Narration: When I saw all the narrators, I thought this was a full cast, but we get a few chapters from other POVs, just the one though. I'm a fan of Sebastian York, but their voice didn't seem age appropriate for God of Malice. It was off when we'd go from Josie Minor as Glyndon and then into Killian's chapters, didn't sound like a 19-year-old. I enjoyed Josie's narrations but wasn't a fan of the voiceovers for their dialogue with Killian. I enjoyed the brief cameos of Aaron, Wen, and Kylie, their voices were great for their one chapter, and will definitely be on the lookout for more by them. Overall, I pretty much loved it lol. It’s been a while since I read a good Rina Kent book, and this one hit all my spots 😉 RK's dramatic flair for doom and gloom is actually leaking out of this book's every orifice, I kid you not:

Eventually, the writing style smoothens out a little bit, but here and there RK has a pompously worded phrase ready for describing someone's death, suicide attempt or inferiority complex. Maybe because she is operating under the misapprehension that otherwise readers will be unmoved by the simple beauty of tragedy itself? Who knows. Certainly not us. This was so underwhelming and boring and RK out there bragging it's her longest book 🤣 (sorry hun, long =/= good). I will not lie when all the characters were introduced I forgot a bit about our main characters and I had to remind myself that this book is about them. But it's only because I can't wait to read about all new characters, or almost all of them, because not everyone is supposed to have a book. Hopefully Rina will give characters who won't have the book in this series their own stories in another series, like Knox from RES. I’m not going to lie, I think the main reason for my enjoyment had more to do with reading about everyone’s lives and who they’re kids turned out to be. Surprise surprise ! RK managed to give all the guys god complexes and made them broody and blank. How she managed to save Bran and Remi I will never know. Being known as a psycho was something Killian was proud of. His mind worked differently. He always liked hunting. There was just something so amazing about watching your prey suffer after that long chase. That is until he stumbled upon the best prey ever at the cliff. Glyndon might just be the prettiest prey he ever had. She was everything he wanted and everything he wanted to break as well. His little bunny liked to run and he liked to chase. She said she hated him but he knew better. If only she knew the real reasons he had for chasing her.

definitely my favourite sociopath up in here!! there were many of them too... but he took the cake🥺 Is the first full length book in author Rina Kent's 'Legacy of Gods' series. Spoken in multiple POV's. I just know this will be my favorite series from Rina Kent, I feel it will beat the Royal Elite series for sure, at least for me. At the beginning it was hard for me to catch up with all the new characters, but the tree of them at the beginning of the book certainly helped. Just one book out and I probably have a billion couples in my head already, so much steam, so much chemistry. I mean it's tough for me to choose who to ship with whom 🤣 and what about Jonathan as a grandpa??!!! OMG.He is reminiscent of an edgy emo boy who happened to read an article "20 Signs of a Psychopath: Traits & Characteristics - Choosing Therapy" and conformed his behavior to the global standards for psychopaths: all the signs match, but that doesn't make him one.
