and the other one has no adapter with them but probally go with the lighintn node (without pro) i think. I wanted to get some new Corsair stuff for more RGB on my setup, but I am very confused by all the different RGB controllers and junk you need. To assign lighting to your fans or strips, select the fan series you want to edit on the left menu. the commander can do lighting(2 ports) temp, usb hub(may or may not work) and pwm for fans. the 2 led ports need an hub to attach up to 6 fans to each port for a toalt of 12 fans. LIGHTING NODE PRO features two channels that can be individually controlled, allowing you to have your LED strips on one channel and your RGB fans on the other channel. You can define what device is on each channel with the dropdown menu just to the right of the channel number (you can choose from RGB LED strips, HD RGB fans, or SP RGB fans).

For iCUE version 4 or newer

the lighting node core can only do the lighting but it can only do 6 fans were as the node pro with 2 hubs can do 12. Select LC100 Accent Triangles in the dropdown menu of the lighting channel you have connected the LC100 to. The 5.5mm connection rods are used to help companion triangles bend around a corner at 90 degree angles. Each ARGB wire needs its own Lighting Node Pro channel, these don't work with the Corsair Lighting Hub unfortunately.

Either let iCUE automatically detect your Corsair fans, or manually select the appropriate product. Then I found the Commander Pro, which I thought I could get and use instead of my Node to both control my ML120s and their RGB, along with a set of strip lights that don't come with another Node. i really would like to get a 5m roll of ws2811 (pin) rgb can anybody confirm they would work with corsair link?

NOTE: If you select a LIGHTING LINK effect, the lighting effect will be applied to all iCUE-compatible devices connected to your PC. In the second drop-down box, select how many of each device is connected to your Lighting Controller. Use the 4mm or 5.5mm connection rods to connect the companion triangles onto the master triangle in whatever shape you want. Once you have finished setting up the LC100 in your system, it is time to use iCUE to customize the RGB LED lighting. Make sure that the firmware of iCUE and your LC100 have been updated to the latest versions. same case come with a core just depends on witch one. looks like there an pwm hub only no lighting that can also come with the case.

But, now I'm starting to see that I might still need a node (along with the other included controller) to control the RGB on the fans, and the all then all the Commander Pro does is control their speed. To assign lighting to your fans/strips, you then must select the Lighting Channel you wish to control on the left.

The LIGHTING NODE PRO has a total of 6 different lighting modes: Rainbow, Color Shift, Color Pulse, Color Wave, Static, and Temperature. With the different lighting modes available, you can do some pretty cool stuff, such as have the HD RGB fans on your radiator change color depending on the temperature of your processor and the other fans in your system change color depending on the temperature of your drives or graphics card all while your LED strips display a constant rainbow effect. not only that i dont think you can buy just the commander core or node core on its its own i think they have to be in a bundle un like the commander and lighting node pro. (cold be wrong on that thow i haven't look ) I know The Pro has more temperature sensors and USB and stuff, but is that really the only difference? now form what i gathered they included the hub in the core for space saving less cables saposly less "confusing" How then, is the Commander Pro any better (for my applications) than the Commander Core included with my CPU cooler?

Right now my fans speed control are plugged into my motherboard so I can't use iCue to create a custom fan curve like I could with the Pro, but from my understanding, the Core has that same feature. My PC will have 5 RGB ML120s, and some Corsair strip lights (probably 4 strips daisy chained together). I will for sure have a Commander Core, but exactly what other controllers do I need to control all of that with iCue?
