The presence of a motor increases its weight, so it’s not the lightest pruner at 3.8 kg, but there is a shoulder included to help make it more manageable. Whilst the strap does help to some extent, using the RPP750S still requires a fair amount of upper body strength. Had an older 1.6m Wilkinson Sword pole lopper which served well for many years but this is just far better for higher branches, has a very solid and quality feel. Obviously heavier than our 1.6m one but not by much so shouldn't be too unwieldy. Long reach tree pruners typically employ one of two cutting mechanisms: bypass or anvil.
